Breathtaking. Spectacular. Unforgettable.

Tall ships coming to Owen Sound

The tall ships sailed into the scenic Owen Sound Harbour this August and an estimated 10,000 people were in attendance during the three-day event. Thousands enjoyed deck tours on the Pride of Baltimore II and Playfair as well as see the Wild Irish Rose and Canadian Coast Guard's Cape Providence. Plus, they enjoyed historical re-enactors adjacent the ships along the harbour wall. And hundreds enjoyed a fun time aboard Liana's Ransom for 90-minute excursions.
This three-day event also featured live music, children’s activities, historic dramatizations, food, artisans, and much more. On the final day, thousands lined the harbour to watch the spectacular Parade of Sail as the ships departed.
